Committees

Oversees the outlet dam’s condition, debris management, screen maintenance, and the emergency action plan (EAP). Coordinates periodic professional inspections and small volunteer workdays (e.g., vegetation clearing).

• Debris removal and screen adjustments

• Risk mitigation and EAP upkeep

Tracks clarity (Secchi readings), coordinates sampling with the state and partners, and promotes shoreline buffers and lake-friendly practices (slow-no-wake near shore, minimize runoff).

• Secchi monitoring and seasonal logs
• Volunteer sampling & data handoffs
• Education on best practices for clarity

Supports healthy fisheries and habitat, coordinates with agencies on stocking policy as needed, and shares angler education on low-impact practices.

• Habitat stewardship & shoreline best practices
• Coordination with state biologists (as needed)
• Angler education and seasonal notes
